Riverblend ciders are handmade with minimal intervention. Native yeasts naturally ferment the fruit we gather, and we bottle without filtration.
Current Offerings
Made with apples sourced from a variety of watersheds in and around Lane County, our ciders are aged for six months in stainless steel and oak barrels, then blended with reserve juice for conditioning.Ingredients: Apples; ABV 7%, 00
This barrel-aged co-ferment of dessert and perry pears is a tribute to our departed canine friend, Jerry. The cuvée changes year-to-year depending on the source orchards in and around Lane County.
Ingredients: Pears, pectic enzyme, 7% ABV
These cider-variety apples of French origin come from Pleasant Valley Orchard in Linn County. Varieties include Vilberie, Michelin, Binet Rouge, Medaille d’Or, Néhou, Muscadet de Dieppe, Reine des Pommes, Calville Blanc & Dabinette. Harvested in September, pressed directly and isolated as a single barrel.

This blend includes 80+ varieties of apples from test plots, heritage orchards, roadside attractions, and backyards from around the region. Bright, fresh, complex and crafted together for sharing with friends! Enjoy.

Ida King of Dabz is our blend of Ida Red, Kingston Black, and Dabinett apples, mid and late-season harvests that balance tannin, acidity, and structure.

This single-variety cider is made with 100% Dabinett, a bittersweet apple originally cultivated in the south of England. We harvest late in the season to ensure ripeness and tannins to maintain a balanced and slightly off-dry quality.

A delightful blend of Jonagold apples, each bottle is co-fermented with a purèe of blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and marionberries grown in our Rigberry Garden.

In collaboration with our pardners at Randy’s Hot Sauce, we co-fermented 100% Jonagold apples with a special blend of hot peppers to create a semi-sweet heat balanced with fresh acidity. Pure Randy.

Our Story
Riverblend Cider is an ever-shifting narrative which began in early 2021 when co-owners and founders Wayne Beckwith & Patrick Newson, along with support from a cadre of human and canine companions, began to prune a semi-neglected orchard planted to cider-specific apples back toward a place of health and productivity.
Since that time, they have continued to learn and adapt their growing practices to best support natural fermentation methods and have begun to work with other low-intervention growers throughout the region to highlight both pomological and geographic diversity.
Every year brings new challenges and opportunities to explore the fruits of our labor and offer them to our community in the form of delicious beverages.
